So I've finally done it. I've purchased quality art supplies from an art store. Sure my wallet feels a Hell lot lighter but the results of my spontaneous splurge on art supplies is ridiculous! I bought Prisma Markers - an alcohol-based marker that is used by professional artists. They come in a rainbow of color and shades and are great for blending, smooth-application, non-streaking, fast-drying and layering (I sound like a paid advertisement eh? O_o).

I also bought thick, expensive art paper, four-various sized inking pens, erasers and a sketchbook. The markers are $4.50 EACH (ow I know and trust me when you are buying these markers and see all the colors you just start grabbing and forget the price T_T).

I left the art store $400+ less. ;_;. It hurt at first but then I went home IMMEDIATELY with my treasures in hand and instantly began testing my guilty pleasures. The results were astounding! I have always prided myself on being pretty good at producing 'good' art work sans professional-grade supplies.

I've always known my plain line-art done in pencil was very good and not being shown to its true potential. But now that is no longer the case! The quality of my art has officially LEAPED. I have been drawing, outlining and coloring like a mad woman. I will be uploading my little beauties ASAP.

However one small warning - I have had these markers for shy of a week. I haven't truly mastered them or finalized a technique for them yet. I WILL soon master these amazing markers tho like my life depends on it >_<.

O ya... I got so side-tracked on preening about my art and markers I forgot to mention I'm at the doctor's office. It's pretty swanky. Nice HD plasma tvs that are currently playing PLANET EARTH (love that series btw) and the staff are pretty nice ^_^.
